What is Kybella and how does it work?
Kybella is a treatment for removing or melting excess fat below the chin often known as a double chin. The extra layer of fat or subcutaneous fat under the chin is often due to being overweight. In some cases, it is hereditary. It may also happen due to aging where the skin loses its elasticity thereby contributing to a double chin.
Kybella (Deoxycholic acid) is a non-surgically injectable substance that reduces the fat under your chin. It contains a substance that occurs naturally in the body that absorbs fat cells. Deoxycholic acid, when injected properly, destroys the fat cells.
What can you expect?
1. Before Treatment
Photo – An office staff member may take your photo to track your results over time.
Comfort – Your healthcare specialist may use cold packs or local anesthesia to help make you more comfortable.This injection process may take 15 to 20 minutes.
2. After Treatment
